Skaimsberg Apartments is located right in the middle of several ski resorts. Wether you prefer larger reosrts or the humble powder paradise, the closest resort is only 40min away by car. That said, you can always go backcountry skiing closer to us. The possibilities for backcountry skiing are almost endless.

From around the 15.th of May our busy worker bees start working in our orchard. We love our bees. Without them our garden would look very different, and there would be no apples, cherries or strawberries. We strive to make sure our bees thrive. Come with us wearing protective gear, and see for yourself. It is an experience you will remember.

During autumn you are welcome into our strawberry tunnels to see how we grow (and maybe taste) some of the delicious Norwegian strawberries for your self. Waking among the plants we find a sense of calm and quiet we wish for everyone to experience. Due to our climate, the strawberries carry an intense flavor. Have a taste for yourself.

The Aurlandsdalen valley is widely known for being one of Norways most beautiful hikes. You can start right by the apartments, or further up the valley and hike to places like Steinbergdalshytta or Østerbø. From us it is also an option to hike down to the Aurlandsfjord and see the village and fjord combined into a fantastic visual.

We have a small farm shop with the products that we make at Skaimsberg. This is as local as it gets. Taste the natural honey from bees working in our orchard, with hints of apple blossoms, cherry blossoms and strawberry blossoms. You will also find various articles depending on the season. Welcome!

Skaimsberg Apartments is surrounded by apple trees. During autumn and the harvest we offer you a unique insight into the process of making your own apple juice. Together with our seasoned farmer you will be able to pick and press your own apple juice. This is the true taste of the Aurlandsdalen valley.
